Terms of Use for fiYou

Last updated: August 28, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the fiYou mobile application ("fiYou", "the App" or "App").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using fiYou, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the App.

1. The App

fiYou is a personal financial planning and tracking tool designed to help you:

  • track progress toward financial goals, including financial security, independence, and freedom;
  • plan and manage personal budgets;
  • record and monitor assets and liabilities; and
  • explore financial scenarios based on information and assumptions provided by you.

fiYou is an informational and planning tool only.

fiYou is not a bank, broker, investment firm, financial institution, financial adviser, tax adviser, accounting service, legal service, or other regulated financial service provider.

fiYou does not hold, manage, transfer, invest, or otherwise control your money or financial assets.

2. No Financial, Investment, Tax, or Legal Advice

fiYou does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice.

Any calculations, projections, forecasts, estimates, scenarios, or other information displayed by the App are provided for general informational and planning purposes only.

The results generated by fiYou may depend on:

  • information you enter into the App;
  • assumptions you select or configure;
  • assumptions built into the App;
  • mathematical models and calculations; and
  • other factors that may change over time.

Such results are estimates and are not guarantees of future financial outcomes.

You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and for evaluating whether any information provided by fiYou is appropriate for your circumstances.

Before making a significant financial, investment, tax, legal, or other decision based on information displayed in fiYou, you should obtain appropriate professional advice from a qualified and appropriately licensed professional.

3. Your Account and Data

fiYou does not require you to create a separate fiYou user account.

The App may use your existing Apple ID and iCloud account to provide features such as data synchronization and household sharing.

You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your Apple ID, device, and associated credentials.

You are also responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information you enter into the App.

You retain ownership of the financial and other information that you enter into fiYou, subject to any rights that may be necessary for Apple or its services to provide the functionality of the App.

For information about how fiYou handles personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Certain fiYou features may require a paid subscription, including subscription plans such as Standard or Pro ("Subscription").

Subscriptions may be offered on a monthly or annual basis, or on other billing periods disclosed to you at the time of purchase.

Automatic Renewal

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, your Subscription will automatically renew for the same subscription period unless you cancel it in accordance with the applicable Apple subscription terms before the renewal date.

The applicable cancellation deadline and renewal terms presented by Apple at the time of purchase or renewal will apply.

Billing

Subscriptions purchased through the App Store are billed by Apple through your Apple account.

The price applicable to your Subscription will be displayed before purchase and may also be displayed in the App Store and within the App.

Prices may vary by country or region and may include applicable taxes, where required by law.

Managing or Cancelling a Subscription

You can manage or cancel your Subscription through your Apple account and the subscription management functionality provided by Apple.

On supported iOS devices, this can generally be accessed through:

Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions

Cancelling a Subscription normally prevents future renewals but does not necessarily provide a refund for a period that has already been paid for.

Free Trials and Promotional Offers

If fiYou offers a free trial or other promotional period, the specific terms of that offer will be disclosed before you start the trial or promotion.

Unless otherwise stated, if you purchase a paid Subscription before a free trial expires, any unused portion of the free trial may be forfeited to the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable App Store terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory cancellation, refund, or cooling-off rights that may apply to you under the laws of your country or region.

5. Refunds and Consumer Rights

Payments for Subscriptions purchased through the App Store are processed by Apple.

Refund requests for App Store purchases are generally handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's applicable refund policies and procedures.

You may request a refund through Apple's available refund process:

Apple – Request a refund

However, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or replace any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country or region.

Where applicable law provides you with a right to cancel a digital service, obtain a refund, exercise a statutory warranty, or otherwise seek a remedy, those rights remain unaffected by these Terms.

6. Household Sharing

fiYou may allow you to share certain financial information with another person through Apple's iCloud and CloudKit sharing functionality ("Household Sharing").

If you invite another person to your household or otherwise share financial information with them, that person may have access to the information you choose to share.

You are responsible for deciding who you invite and what information you choose to share.

You should only share financial information with people you trust.

Where supported by the App, you can manage or revoke sharing through the App.

fiYou is not responsible for how another person uses information that you have voluntarily shared with them.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use fiYou only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

You must not:

  • use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose;
  • attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions, payment mechanisms, or other access controls;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law;
  • interfere with or attempt to disrupt the operation or security of the App;
  • use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App or its associated services; or
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, data, or services associated with fiYou.

Nothing in this section is intended to restrict rights that cannot legally be restricted under applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

fiYou, including its software, design, user interface, graphics, branding, name, logos, text, content, and other elements of the App, is owned by Mindaugas Latvenas or the applicable rights holders and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the App in accordance with these Terms, no ownership or other intellectual-property rights in fiYou are transferred to you.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, sell, license, or create derivative works based on the App or its content except as permitted by applicable law or with the appropriate authorization.

You retain ownership of the financial and other data that you enter into fiYou.

9. App Availability and Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, fiYou is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the App, including its availability, accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

In particular, we do not guarantee that:

  • the App will always be available or operate without interruption;
  • calculations, forecasts, projections, or other results will always be accurate or complete;
  • the App will be free from errors, defects, or interruptions;
  • the App will meet your particular requirements or expectations; or
  • the App will remain compatible with every device, operating system, Apple service, or third-party service.

The functionality of fiYou may depend on third-party services, including Apple services, operating systems, internet connectivity, and cloud infrastructure. Such third-party services may be outside our control.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits any warranty, statutory guarantee, or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, fiYou and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss or damage arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

This may include, to the extent permitted by law, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or other financial loss.

You acknowledge that fiYou is a planning and informational tool and that financial decisions involve risks that cannot be eliminated by the use of the App.

You are responsible for independently evaluating information provided by the App before making financial or other decisions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law prohibits us from excluding or limiting.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.

11. Third-Party Services

fiYou may rely on or interact with third-party services, platforms, or technologies, including services provided by Apple.

Your use of such third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies imposed by the relevant third-party provider.

fiYou is not responsible for the availability, functionality, security, or content of third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using fiYou at any time by uninstalling the App.

If you have an active Subscription, uninstalling the App does not necessarily cancel the Subscription. You should cancel your Subscription separately through your Apple account or the applicable subscription-management mechanism.

We may suspend or terminate your access to fiYou where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • you materially breach these Terms;
  • you use the App unlawfully or fraudulently;
  • continued access could create a security risk or materially harm the App or other users; or
  • we discontinue the App or a material part of its functionality.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable notice or other protections before suspending or terminating access.

Termination of access does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

13. Changes to the App

fiYou may be updated, modified, improved, or discontinued from time to time.

We may add, modify, or remove features where reasonably necessary for development, security, technical reasons, legal compliance, or other legitimate business reasons.

Where a change materially reduces functionality for which you have already paid, we will provide any remedies or protections required by applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights applicable in your jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes or obtain your consent before the changes become effective.

If continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance under applicable law, your continued use of the App will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree with materially changed Terms, you should stop using the App and cancel any active Subscription.

15. Governing Law and Consumer Protection

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, except to the extent that mandatory laws of your country or region provide otherwise.

If you are a consumer residing outside Lithuania, nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of the protection provided by mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you in your country or region.

In particular, if the mandatory laws of your jurisdiction provide you with rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights remain fully applicable.

Subject to the mandatory rights of consumers under applicable law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of fiYou shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lithuania.

However, if the mandatory laws of your jurisdiction give you the right to bring proceedings in another court, nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict that right.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent authority or court, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a right or provision under these Terms, this does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

A waiver of any provision must be effective only to the extent expressly stated.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any additional terms expressly referenced in them and any applicable terms governing specific fiYou features, constitute the agreement between you and the developer regarding your use of fiYou, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If any conflict exists between these Terms and mandatory consumer-protection law, the mandatory law will prevail.
